Sherrie Giusto is owner and founder of Open Door Yoga Studio in Coconut Grove. Raised in Miami she has been teaching all forms of fitness for over 30 years, including owning her own yoga studios, hosting Wellness Retreats in Colorado and is also ERYT-500 certified. Her mantra is “Yoga with a Heart”.
Natalie Morales, Managing Director, Open Door Yoga Studio and former Dharma Yoga Studio, Coconut Grove grew up as a classically trained ballerina. She has been teaching yoga since 1995. She has been trained in many schools of Yoga including Anusara, Ashtanga, Bikram, Kundalini, Iyengar and more. Her intelligent, lighthearted approach to teaching meets her students where they are on the mat.
Michael Stasko was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He earned a master’s degree in aerospace engineering while conducting research for NASA. A few years later, during his work as an analyst in spacecraft control, Michael was deeply moved by a series of personal insights and spiritual experiences that prompted him to leave his career and spend the next 10 years living in India.
From 2010-2019, Michael lived in an ashram and dedicated his life to serving his master, Her Holiness Sri Karunamayi, while deepening his practice of meditation, philosophy, prāṇāyāma and Sanskrit chanting. In 2019, he moved back to Miami where he offers coaching on conscious growth and relationships as well as teaches meditation and other spiritual practices.
